BAFTA AWARDS:BEST DRESSED CELEBRITIES

It’s the biggest night in British film, and the stars are descending on London’s Royal Albert Hall for the BAFTAs 2020, where Hollywood legends will join members of royalty (the Duke of Cambridge will attend with the Duchess of Cambridge in his capacity as president of BAFTA), and the industry’s most exciting rising stars on the red carpet.
Joker is tipped for glory, with 11 nominations including Best Film, Best Leading Actor for Joaquin Phoenix, and Best Director for Todd Phillips. Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, The Irishman, and 1917 are also each nominated in multiple categories. Greta Gerwig’s Little Women was overlooked in the major categories, although star Saoirse Ronan is up for Best Leading Actress for her turn as Jo March. Her competition includes Renée Zellweger, who has already picked up a Golden Globe, a SAG award and a Critics’ Choice award for her barnstorming performance in Judy.
