OSCARS 2018:THE BEST DRESSED DRESSED MEN AT THE ACADEMY AWARDS RED CARPET 2018

Chadwick Boseman

Boseman’s Givenchy spring 2018 couture look, styled by Ashley Weston, proved that the Black Panther is a new menswear superhero. What gave this tux an edge was the elaborate silver embroidery on the long coat and shoes finished on top with silver zippers.

James Ivory

The Call Me By Your Name screenwriter was a billboard of sorts for his creation, wearing a tuxedo with a white button-front decorated with the sketch of the face of the film’s star: Timothee Chalamet.

All hats off to the reportedly stylist-free Call Me By Your Name nominee, who has been making all the right moves on the carpet this season; white-on-white custom Berluti was a fresh choice that looks right on the ingénue.

Daniel Kaluuya

With the help of stylist Mercedes Natalia, Kaluuya was on point in this nontraditional, caramel-colored velvet Brunello Cucinelli contrast-collar tux jacket from the fall 2018 Collection with Tods shoes and an IWC watch.

Armie Hammer

Taking a leap away from red carpet predictability (and his penchant for track suits), Hammer seriously upped his game in a custom red velvet tux by Giorgio Armani, styled by Ilaria Urbinati, with rose gold cufflinks and watch.

  • Garret Hedlund

The dusty teal tone and double-breasted jacket made Hedlund’s Prada tuxedo stand out in the crowd, thanks to styling by Ilaria Urbinati.

  • Jordan Peele

The Get Out writer-director looked dapper in a crisp white Calvin Klein jacket and poplin shirt with a black satin bow tie and tux pants, and a custom yellow gold antler lapel pin created by Jason Of Beverly Hills (and designed by his stylists Sydney Lopez and Chris Horan) to honor the film.

Adam Rippon

The stylish Olympic skater made a statement turn on the red carpet in an avant-garde, cropped black tux jacket with cutaway shoulders, matching trousers and a studded leather chest harness, all by Jeremy Scott for Moschino.

Tom Holland

The 21-year-old Spider-Man: Homecoming star looked impeccably sharp and sleek in a double-breasted Hermes suit (with beautiful custom lining, according to stylist Law Roach) and bow-tie, with a Piaget watch as an extra touch.
