The 2020 MTV Video Music Awards is taking place on Sunday, August 30, which means viewers will still get a taste of the glitz, glamour and all of the unforgettable fashion moments that the awards show’s known for. The 37th annual ceremony featuring the biggest stars of music undoubtedly looks different than past years amid the coronavirus pandemic. The 2020 show was originally set to take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn without an audience, but the venue decided that outdoor performances were safer with the virus. Some performances have been pre-recorded from celebrities’ homes, while others are being filmed live among the different boroughs of NYC.
