FRAY DENIM SHORTS

Image
Frayed shorts are very popular at the moment. But they do just look like someone’s come along and cut the bottom off your jeans. So why not try it out for yourself before splashing out? Fraying shorts is one of the simplest ways to edit your jeans and you don’t have to be particularly creative or artistic. It’s mainly a lot of cutting and slashing. It may seem easier to just throw out your old clothes and buy some new ones, but think about how much money you’ll be saving by  customising them . Jeans can be expensive and we all get attached to that old  comfy pair . Whether you have an old pair of jeans that you’d like to cut off or a worn out pair of shorts you’d like to fray, it’s simple.

A blazer is for formal wear and a coat is for anytime wear. Formal blazers are generally made in deep shades. Coats can be made of any fabric like cotton, linen and leather. There is a slight difference though.            Typically, coats form part of a man's suit, while blazers are available without pants as you can wear them with formal or informal pants.                            A BLAZZER                                                                A COAT

VINTAGE CLOTHING

Vintage clothing  is a generic term for garments  originating from a previous era. The phrase is also used in connection with a retail outlet, e.g. " vintage clothing store. " Today vintage dressing encompasses choosing accessories, mixing vintage garments with new, as well as creating an ensemble of various styles and periods. [1] Vintage clothes typically sell at low prices for  high end  named brands. It has been part of the world since  World War I  as an idea of reusing clothing because of the  textile shortage. [2]  Vintage clothes help the environment by re wearing the clothing and repurposing them into alternative items. Vintage clothing can be found in cities at local boutiques or local charities

ADIRE

Image
Adire is the name given to indigo dyed cloth produced by Yoruba women of south western Nigeria using a variety of resist dye techniques. Adire translates as tie and dye, and the earliest cloths were probably simple tied designs on locally-woven hand-spun cotton cloth much like those still produced in Mali. In the early decades of the twentieth century however new techniques of resist dyeing were developed, most notably the practice of hand-painting designs on the cloth with a cassava starch paste prior to dyeing. This was known as adire eleko. Today very little (arguably none) good quality adire is still being made in Nigeria and most surviving old pieces have already disappeared into museum and private collections in the USA and Europe. Unlike aso oke which Yoruba people often kept as a family heirloom for decades, adire was an everyday cloth usually worn out and discarded. Today we very rarely find a good piece for sale in Nigeria and the cloths we can offer are drawn mainly from E...
